It displays the hate and disgust the German Nazis have for the European Jewish population. But in all the mess and murder, stands Oscar Shindler who saved the lives of more than a thousand Jewish people, at the cost of the fortune he had so longed for and set out to achieve at the beginning of the story. This was scarce to come across by the Jewish people they were surrounded by the Germans as well as their hatred. This is the source of the genocide that occurred when the working German government attempted to “exterminate” the Jews from Europe and eventually they would’ve tried on a worldwide scale if they had the chance. The process in which the Jews were rounded up concentrated, enslaved and eventually murdered was cruel and disgusting.
Slaughterhouse Five was banned on political grounds for showing the American firebombing of Dresden in World War II. The destruction of 135,000 people (almost twice as destructive as the atomic bombing of Hiroshima) is something that I had never even heard of. Obviously, the US Army has done a good job in keeping it quiet. Teachers and administration claimed that the book displayed "un-Godliness, bathroom language, and an unpatriotic portrayal of war." I believe that the unpatriotic aspects of the war is the main reason the book was banned.
It was when Germany was defeated in World War I that these anti Semitism sentiments started to arise. Many of the Weimar politicians who signed the treaty were Jews. Foreign minister of the Weimar government who was also a Jew was assassinated and killed. So the myth that Jews were responsible for all the problems and the defeat in World War I was born. In 1919, Hitler had written that systematic legitimate opposition can only be done through sensible anti Semitism (The Holocaust, n.d).
These doctors were in a no-win situation because Hitler was ordering all people that fell in a certain category to be executed or become one of the Guinea pigs for the experiments. Hitler’s government was in control of the notorious acts committed by these doctors. The doctors could have said “NO” but they ran a risk of being killed or lose their privileges to practice. Many psychiatrists did not have the courage to openly oppose to the so-called, medical- killing project. So the question is, “Can this Science be considered GOOD Science?” The answer is yes, because to rule out the data collected and act as if it didn’t exist would be unethical because it offers authenticity of the experiments performed.
Hitler has been labeled the most evil man of the twentieth century, but for better or worse he has also been the most influential. He indirectly changed the economic state, military strength and the role of women in America. Hitler
Although Germany was an educated and economically developed country, their leader---Hitler hated Jews a lot. Hitler tried many ways to make Jews look bad and then he could have abundant excuses to kill them. He was a good leader, he leaded the Germany become strong again, but he was also breaking out a gloomy Holocaust in Germany. The Holocaust was the shame of the Germany; the Nazis killed millions of harmless Jews. Just because Jews are richer and smarter than Germans, Hitler was jealous; just because Hitler wanted a higher race in Germany; just because they lost the World War I, they didn’t want to admit their losing.
The Nazis were judgmental raciest and disgusting people who hated anyone who was different then them. The Nazis killed, tortured, and dehumanized 6 million Jews, just because they were different. The information in this research paper is very important because if we forget about the past mistakes, then it is likely it will happen again. To ensure that the world is a better place one must be carful to question our leaders, never follow bad leaders, and prejudice beliefs
But yes, they participate, and it was solely just because they could and it gave the Jews less. For example, in the picture depicting the scene about Vladek’s friends making a deal with a Nazi soldier to escape, you see later on that he shoots them when they act on the plan. So even though they participated, they were none at all neither fair nor
The British blockade kept all trades away from the Germans, including food (Ghost Liners 124).Yet, when the Germans retaliate, the Americans hate them for it. The Germans received blame for a crime that followed the rules of war blockades. America shames the Germans for killing civilians warned of the possible danger. Finally, the Lusitania allowed for the British to win in a win-win situation that their government
Fault for the Holocaust The highest responsibility for the Holocaust is held by Hitler and those who worked with him, followed by the bystanders and the innocent. It was Hitler and his SS officers who manipulated and controlled millions of Jews. Allied countries were afraid of Hitler and the damage he could’ve done; the Jewish didn’t believe the stories being told by others. Hitler made millions believe that the Jews were filthy. The Jews were not the perfect image to Hitler, but it wasn’t just him.
