I am hoping that you seriously learn that text driving is just not worth it. Learn that a message can wait until you are stopped or at a safe location. We need to find ways to inform every one of the dangers of texting while driving, and this is not just for our teens but also for adults. Purpose and Scope The purpose of this report is to convenience everyone that they have a decision to make, and everyone is responsible for their own action. People need to understand and learn the consequences of text driving, learning that it is not worth the lives that are being lost. Remember you have a decision to make, do I risk my life, or the life of some else, because I just had to read or respond to that message. Remember, texting and driving is no different than driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Ask yourself one question. Can I live with myself if my actions cost the life of someone? With this report, I will focus on ways to stop people from texting and driving. The downloading of an app, parents being role models, and state laws should deter you from becoming a statistic. Distractive driving is costing us dearly and technology seems to be behind the loss of lives.
