Soldiers must know how to do their individual job and complete their team tasks. In combat team leaders are responsible for the maneuver of their team; this includes convoys, foot march, air movements or any others. In the army the team leader will spend a lot of time with their soldiers, they do counselling, one to one mentoring and leading by example, they make sure their soldiers get the training they need to be successful in the future. The Importance Of Keeping Your Chain Of Commands Trust. Keeping the trust of your chain of command is an important part of our job as infantrymen, and to those who look to be promoted. It is important to make sure your chain of command can trust you with any job or task they ask because in the end you should be trusted to do those things when they ask. Not only is trust from your chain of command important but also with your fellow soldiers. Every link in the chain of command must trust each other from the very top to the very bottom.
The Importance of Accountability 2 Accountability is of outmost importance in the military. Having accountability of gear, weapons, soldiers, and yourself is what gets the mission done. Not knowing where any of these are can be very detrimental. We do this by reporting to our chain of command, always being at the right place, right time, and right uniform. This chain of command is put in place to keep operations going smoothly in the Army, so that information is passed through as quickly and efficiently as possible.
