Abstract This paper will focus assessing the position of a management analyst with in the business management office of Joint Forces Warfighting Center. It will look at the goal setting system, performance evaluation and workplace rewards with impacting productivity. It will further identify the task and responsibilities of a management analyst. It will examine the rewards organization wide to determine whether they are effective. It will also explore the goals of the organization. It was concluded by Joint Operating Environment, that perhaps the greatest difficulty confronting the Joint Forces in preparing future leaders is the personnel system in which are used. The time has come to address recruiting, education, training incentives and promotion systems. Developing a sustainable workforce with the right capabilities within financial reach is a mission critical requirement that demands rigor and accountability in all aspects of human capital investment, development and management. The rewards granted, by the advancement of this position are lucrative and professionally enhancing in a career. It is my opinion that the rewards associated with this position are effective as there are many people waiting for a position to opening. Employees in this position seem to be motivated to progress toward higher levels and goals. In addition to the Independent Development Program, this position is entitled to enroll in the Independent Leadership Development program. Goals The main goal of this position is to place the organization under a microscope and define areas of improvement and productivity. This position is directly in line with the mission of the organization because implementation of processes and monitoring the progress is essential to the growth and development. Exploring potential problems in practices and procedure can be useful to the infrastructure of the organization. Impact on Productivity This position has a direct impact on productivity as it sole existence is based on analyzing the controls in the organization and defining if they are productive in accordance to the mission.
