Eden had stopped trying to find answers after he was turned town several times. Years had passed and his youngest son Bond was now curious who the rest of his family was. Eden again thinking that he was going to be turned down again tried calling that agency one last time. Surprisingly he had a letter for him from his biological sister. He read the letter and found out that he was put up for adoption when he was a baby because his mother was sixteen and his father was eighteen.

Only a month before the baby is expected, they went to the hospital to have a checkup on the baby. Lawrence left to go to the local store and left Flossie home alone. Coming home after a half hour, Lawrence got home and found Flossie laying on the floor. He called Dr. David M. McCoy to the house. He delivered Lawrence Exeter Jr. on October 3, 1903, at 1:32 p.m. Christmas was only around the corner and they wanted Lawrence Jr. to have his first of many family moments.
They lived there for about a year. During this time, Joe's mother contacted her brother in law who was already in America and asked him to help them to come to America. When they arrived at Ellis Island, they ran into difficulties because the administrators wouldn't let deaf people into America, and Joe is deaf. Joe and his mother went to Venezuela, South America for three months before they were finally admitted into America in 1947, under the Hispanic quota. When they arrived in America, they found out that Joe's aunt and uncle also survived the war.
Mary is a 55 year old mother of two. Her son, John, a 26 year old man undergoes an elective procedure to reduce the size of his nose. His surgery has been scheduled since May of this year for November 20, 2011. Mary tells her employer on November 15th that she needs to take one month off to care for her son. Her boss refuses her request for time off under FMLA.
Theodore Robert Cowell was born on November 24, 1946 to Louise Cowell. Ted’s biological father, who was in the Air Force, was unknown to him throughout his life. He grew up thinking that his grandparent where his real parents ad his biological mother was his older sister once him and his mother moved back to Philadelphia with them. At age four Ted and his mother moved to Washington to live with some relatives, his mother would never had imagine what was about to happen with her son as he will start to grow. As a youth Ted was terribly shy to the public and in school, he was often teased by his fellow student in his junior high school.
She had a miscarriage before, so the doctors didn’t know their chances. On February 12, 1982 in Bright Hospital she bore a beautiful baby girl and boy, however, with no job and low unemployment benefits, she had to keep only one. She prayed, yet, couldn’t find an answer. So, she decided to move to the United States and she took her son, Joseph Banks. She found a job at a prestigious law firm in Chicago, Burton and Michaels.
When Allie left that summer, in the book it said how Noah wrote her letters for two years. In the movie Noah wrote Allie for exactly 365 days. Allie never got any of them because her mom hid them. Allies parents did not approve of Noah, he was poor and underclass, or as Allies mom called him trash. There were a couple of scenes in the movie that were not mentioned in the book.
Russell Werner Lee, son of Burton and Adeline Lee, was born in Ottawa, Illinois, on July 21, 1903. At age five his parents divorced and at age ten he watched as his mother dies from being hit by an automobile. His life wasn’t easy growing up. He attended Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana for four years and disliked the ways of military treatment. Lee graduated from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania with a degree in chemical engineering.

Paul and Jane met in college, fell in love and were married. Amy was born shortly after the wedding and two years later, Ann was born. As Amy and Ann grew older, Jane started volunteering at a women’s shelter and became attached to two young boys Jason, age 6 and Luke, age 4, who were abused and neglected by their father. Jason and Luke’s mother disappeared; so, Paul and Jane adopted the boys a year later.
