It sounds like many of you have been greatly influenced by your parents and other family members. I agree that family can play a large role in helping us develop personal ethics. My dad, for example, has always told us that "perception is real." He says that if people believe we did something, we might as well have done it. This has always been in my head as I make tough decisions. It's very important to me to know that I am perceived as an individual with strong ethics. I believe, because of my dad's teachings, that the way I am perceived is extremely important. However, I know that it is equally important to live up to those expectations. Because of their strong moral backgrounds, my parents are huge role models for me. Robertson, I strongly agree with your insight. Parents’ strong moral backgrounds can positively affect the overall ethics of their children. However, the absences of role models can negatively affect overall ethics in society. Most individuals that commit unethical actions are the individual who did not have proper guidance throughout their life. I had a friend that was affected by a bad divorced by his parents. The parent has stopped communicating with each other and worst, they have forgotten about their son once he turned into a young adult. As parents, it is a priority to guide their children to become ethical. What is professional skepticism? In what ways does professional skepticism help an auditor when examining the financial statements of a client company? Professional skepticism is the state of alert mind which is ready for the situation that grabs out the errors or the questions in the financial events and other events like while conduction the assurance engagement. It’s basically a skill just like the professional judgment which makes the auditor alert for any particular circumstances. They are alert for any sort of reactions which may occur in the financial events of the company. They are relevant questions to make sure the reports or the information is true or not, they are ready to face the challenges which they already forecasted by their alert
