The author starts out with what people believe in the centuries before ours and these people believe people could turn onto a wolf a night and human by day which is called a werewolf another is a vampire which is believed they can only come out at night because the sun would cause them to burn to death. They also believed in demonology, witchcraft, supernatural and folklore. However the victims found along highways in California, bodies in secluded wooded areas of Washington state and under the floorboards in a home in Chicago are not victims of fictional characters they are monsters in society. I agree they are monsters but I do not believe that is a monster that lives inside them and only comes out when they see an intended victim, they are monsters through and through. When they were no killing they we thinking of their next victim and what they will do to them. The author believes there are reasons such as reports of cult-related homicides will provide research date for researchers to be able to continue to research serial killers and satanism. I am in limbo on this believe of the author concerning satanism, on one had I believe we could put the money used for that research to research that needs the money. On the other hand the research may find a link, but I just they are just evil monsters. I believe anyone can be saved if they want it bad enough and I have the same opinion as the author on serial
