They invent a story and begin and play it over and over in their heads until they start to live the lie and become so involved in it that they do not know what is true or not. These people historically have a tendency of being mentally ill or end up going insane due to the lack of reality. It does not always have to be that drastic though. There are also times when people lie to themselves with simple unimportant lies and it becomes their mission in life to live up to the lie. The most typical types of liars are those that lie to others.
They will also activate the blame game mode; some will even have big meltdowns trying to convince you they are being truthful or try to create new stories to cover up the first lies or series of lies and the cover up more often than not is exaggerative and even harder to believe than the first. Sometimes he will even try to seek revenge not only on you but sometimes whoever pointed you in the direction of the truth. His stories are unbelievable They have tons of jaw-dropping stories. But no battle wounds to match, sometimes the events in the stories seem almost impossible, pointless or the characters in the plot are either living somewhere usually far away, too young to remember or dead. He avoids eye contact with you when he is trying to explain himself or is making every effort to stare at you while giving his/her story Some serial liars are not bold enough to look in your faces and lie and this is perhaps one of the easiest signs a woman usually uses to figure out their lying man.
Similarly ones if the lying is mixed with trust then a threat against trust of any relation are produced. According to Mazur, critics of utilitarianism claim, people usually fail to estimate the harms of lying brought to society (Mazur). For instance, a politician falsely promising the people to improve the conditions of the country and doctor who provides wrong statement to the patient that he will recover, just to avoid any kind of depression for him, apparently they achieved overall benefit. But what if the deceits are learned by people? In addition to this, children try to hide things from their parents which they know their parents would not accept. But after getting some kind of intimation parents are forced to observe their children in their every activity.
This statement can be debated. Many people tell lies to protect others, not get ourselves in trouble, and even for our own self benefit. These topics will be discussed and proven that being truthful isn’t always the right thing to do.”Like the sun”, and “The Censors” by R.K Narayan and Luisa Valenzuela, both show that by not telling the truth, it may sometimes benefit the society in the future. Whenever you ask "is it ever okay to lie”, people always answer as “it depends on the situation”. You may then ask me, haven’t you ever lie? Of course everyone lie, including me.
Even though he witnessed many horrible things, he could not believe in his Father’s true work. He died because he was not aware of what was happening in the concentration camps. Jack and Algernon had made their brothers up to give themselves an escape route to be someone completely different.
In the biblical story of “Adam and Eve,” Dorian would be Eve and Lord Henry would be the snake that tempts Eve to eat from the forbidden tree of knowledge.
