I am committed to my Christian beliefs since I based my knowledge in the Bible. (Cosgrove, 2006) The Bible is a book where you find the guidance for all humans to live in harmony with their environment. This book also gives prophetic information of events that are happening and will happen. So too are the moral rules for human rights so at the same are not violated. It is a complete book in which you can find word, by word that give you life.
The Question of Meaning/Purpose- Christian’s belief that mankind were created to worship God, to glorify him, by being obedient, praying and being thankful Psalm 95:1 We are here to serve God, to have a personal relationship with him, to accept Jesus Christ in our hearts and belief that he is our Lord and Savior, to trust that he came to this world and gave hos life for us, to forgive our sins, and to allow him to love us and give us eternal life. 4. The Question of Morality- Mankind was created good, sin entered the world through Adam and Eve when they ate from the forbidden tree. God is Holy he is separated fro Evil, being created in the image of God, humans have a conscience and can distinguish good from bad. Jesus came to this world Matthew 28:19 to tell us that we are free from sin, follow him, create other disciples and reign in the glory of God for eternity.
Either you are with Christ or you are not. After Matthew 24:42-44, we get the affirmation from Scripture, that he who is saved, will have a place in Heaven. In Matthew 24:46 The Bible states “Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods”. This verse backs up the previous ones in that it teaches us that once you accept Christ, He will make sure that every single one of your needs is not just met, but met with abundance.
They are statements that summarize the beliefs of the religion. One of the beliefs found in those articles is the belief in God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. They also have a belief that anyone can be saved if they believe in God and obey His laws and ordinances. Another article is the belief that both the Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God. It is also believed that when God returns, Christ will reign on earth, and earth will be renewed and be the place of glory.
The beatitudes teach us basic life skills about how we should act towards one another, encouraging us to treat others with respect, compassion, generosity and justice. If we succeed and live the way Jesus showed us to, which is by showing the values of the beatitudes, we will be rewarded in heaven and will live for eternity with God. The statement, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” basically means standing up for what you believe in, what you know is right and facing the consequences with the choices you decide to take forward. It is about fighting for what is good and what is going to make this world better. If we are able to do this, God will take note of our faithfulness by rewarding us with eternal life with him in heaven.
* Once we have a clear understanding of which we are and our purpose in life, we can then begin to lead the life we were designed to live since the beginning of time. Our path must begin with accepting our title as a follower and a sinner. Accept only God as your leader (Jeremiah 10:23). Hold not hate within one’s heart, but let it be filled with love for the father. Hold fast to the commandments, holding the first and second as highest priority (Mark 12:28-31; Matthew 22:35-40).
God is morally correct and has given us commandments that will help all of us live in a life that is according to his likeness. God is compassionate that he always welcomes us in his kingdom even if we have sinned. Human Beings are Abraham’s Children Judaism, Christianity, and Islam strongly believed that human beings are the highest creature that God has created on earth. Abraham is our father. God has created us in his own likeness which is unique and capable of both good and evil.
God created us, man in his image, the Christian worldview is man was created by God's very own hands. (Genesis 1:27) Christian believe man is created with a body, and living soul, thus making man different from all living things God created. This is a distinct identity, God states man is one of its kind, (Genesis 2:7), and man is to rule over the fish, birds, and over all living creatures that moves on the ground. (Genesis 2:15) Articulate the biblical/Christian Worldview of Meaning/Purpose? Christian's worldview on purpose is for man to know God (John 17:3) to know God is the only true God, and Jesus is his son.
35).” God designed every organism and every person; and if this organism is living then God is living in it. God is absolute goodness, which means that every creation of His is good. As Williams says on page 34, “There is indeed a beginning point, but it is the beginning of an active relationship that never stops. For God to create is for God to ‘commit’ his action, his life…” God
12:20-21). The Spiritual gifts are not without purpose. They are given for the common good of man. The purpose of these gifts is to build up the body of Christ and to bring about edification. The gifts of the Spirit are simply God enabling believers to do what He has called them to do.
