Problem Prevention Plan: Six Grade Classroom Yvonne McCullum Liberty University My main goals for my six graders the first weeks of class will be to organize my classroom in a group/team setting environment. I will introduce myself and other students, review the class expectations for behavior, class procedures, syllabus, and a "get acquainted" game. Once this is done I will get to academics. I want my students to feel comfortable and love their new environment, a classroom that is fun and safe where learning can take place. My students will develop a community that respects each other in the classroom as well as out of the classroom.
The key strategic purpose of the teachers is to prepare lessons to impart information and make them as interesting as possible to keep children engaged and to promote learning by leading discussion and encourage participation. TDA 2.6 TASK (3.1) (3.4) Describe why teamwork is important in schools 3.1 Describe why team work is important in schools. Outstanding, efficient and effective, teamwork allows the school as a whole to run effectively and achieve excellent results not only for you but also for others. It helps to build a positive relationship with those that are within your team. When there is team work, responsibilities and tasks are shared and are completed more effectively and also in a good time scale. In a school there are many other people to consider as your team rather than just the people you work with closely on a daily basis.
We are also required to sometimes work with individual groups of pupils on set tasks or individually with pupils who need one to one support. A teaching assistant also displays work of the pupils in a complimentary way and this is very important to give an ego boost to the pupils and to celebrate their achievements. We also have to display pupils targets, class rules and other words/numbers from various topics. Sometimes a TA is required to work with pupils who have a disability or learning difficulty on a one to one base to help them achieve the same goals as their peers keeping them in mainstream school can be extremely important and a pupil with these difficulties will often need extra support to understand their work. Quite often a TA is responsible for supervising the pupils at playtimes, on school outings, or just generally in the classroom and also offering additional support to the teaching staff in all areas.
(Q1b) The policies and procedures that are in place to support children and young people make children feel safe at the school because they feel that are fully protected from any negative behaviour inflicted by other children. Children will perform better in their studies if they know there isn’t any obstacle in the way that can cause them stress and make them feel unhappy. Our school policy ensures that every child knows what is expecting of them and expects each child to make their own positive contribution to the school. This is achieved by making every child feel proud of the school they are in. Children’s behaviour at the school depends on each child’s attitude to each other and the school.

h. To create an effective IEP, parents, teachers, other school staff--and often the student--must come together to look closely at the student's unique needs. These individuals pool knowledge, experience and commitment to design an educational program that will help the student be involved in, and progress in, the general curriculum. The IEP guides the delivery of special education supports and services for the student with a disability. Without a doubt, writing--and implementing--an effective IEP requires teamwork. 6.
Fenway High School Essay In my opinion what makes a good school are the students, teachers, and principal. The reason I say those three things is because reason one they all represent the school and they have to work hard to make a school good. I said students because to make a school good the students who attend the school have to have good behavior with good grades, because a school that has good grades get more and more students to apply for it. I said teachers because they are the main ones who give us students our knowledge and education. And with good teachers come good students with good grades.
