College students have short-term and long-term goals that they desire to achieve. Achieving a goal at any level would be a great accomplishment of mine. My objective is to work hard at improving my writing skills, having better study skills, and becoming an enhanced student overall. Once I graduate from GCU; I will have a higher level of communication skills, and confidence to become professional and skilled in all that I achieve. A college degree in Elementary Education is essential to me because I want to teach others the value of fun, learning, and the capability to be involved in exciting adventures throughout life.
Effects of going to College. College in general has a big impact on our life and careers. I do think that its important you go to a post secondary school that has the required prerequisites for your field of education, and that has the ability to challenge you. What's more important is that you take the advantage of opportunities at any college that you choose to go to. The importance of getting a college education makes a person strong and more confident about them selfs.

A computer in the hands of a hard-working student is an important and empowering tool that, if utilized to the fullest potential, can be capable of encouraging that student to become a success in his or her studies. Completing my homework without procrastinating and using my resources such as my teachers when I need help are methods I use to accomplish this short term goal. I am eager to attain my Bachelor's Degree (hopefully by 2015) and am planning to continue here at pcc for my associate degree. One of the driving motivations of my education is my children. I want them to see that it is possible to go beyond what one has, to grasp what could be. I want to finish not only my Bachelor's, but my Masters degree for myself, for them, and for the people I hope to work with I have always tried to set clear targets and reach them whatever happens.
