Uncertainty reduction follows an outline that involves different developmental stages. The beginning stage includes communication rules and customs as well as general demographic information, such as gender, race, age and social status is typically obtained. Next, the relationship enters the personal phase where an individual’s personal information begins to be shared. In this stage, communication becomes more natural with a person’s values, attitudes, and beliefs, being shared. The exit stage occurs when an individual determines how to proceed with a relationship by deciding if he or she should maintain or terminate future

Joe Hartline Professor Reavey College Composition I – MW 1:45-3:00 December 12, 2011 Core Value I: Understand that writing is a multi-stage, recursive and social process. Throughout the semester, I grouped up with people of my class and analyzed another student's essay. This was useful as I my essays got evaluated as well, giving me ideas on how to improve my essay. A student wrote that they wanted to hear more of my voice and to elaborate on my opinions. So the first revision I made on my first essay was incorporating my own opinions.
For example, if the client is better off after the application of the intervention in comparison to the prior assistance. Applying a logic model to this evaluation will measure the changes of skills, behaviors, understanding, values, and independence for each client. The measurements will address the prior behaviors and skills in comparison to the present behaviors and skills to document the achievement changes. These measures come from data collection involving client satisfactions surveys, special measurement instruments, and the service professional that can accurately account for specific influences in these evaluations. In addition, the outcome evaluation can prepare the organization for a long-term intervention that can create changes in the community of the organization and the surrounding businesses and community stakeholders.
Make-up exams must be arranged with the instructor prior to the next scheduled class. Failure to do so will result in a zero (0) for that exam. Make up exams are only given for excused absences. Students may be asked to provide documentation to support their absence. I discovered a way to both objectify and subjectively my personal feelings, perceptions and thoughts, and how to analyze the content when faced with challenging situations. The subjective part consists of the personal experience of the event, whereas the objective part is the fact surrounding the experience. I learned how to be observant in the experience what possible meaning could these observations have in relationship to oppression, privilege and diversity. This experience really opened my eyes as it relates to oppression, privilege, diversity because learning is a process that first begins with concrete experiences and that should lead to reflective observations about the experience. This assignment allowed me the opportunity to conceptualize and test the implications of the experience in future situations that may occur as a social worker.
