An Introduction to Indian Head Massage Indian Head massage is a treatment that has evolved from traditional Indian techniques of massage practiced as a family ritual for thousands of years. Indian Head Massage is an ideal treatment for anyone who is suffering from aching shoulders, a tight neck, tension headache, eye strain, insomnia, or poor concentration. It is a safe, simple and effective therapy well-known for relieving symptoms of stress. Indian Head Massage is a very versatile treatment in that in can be carried out anywhere with no specific equipment required. One advantage of the treatment is that it can be given fully clothed, so that it is non-invasive and perfect for shy clients. It is suitable for all the family, from newborns, to pregnant women and also the elderly. Massage is an important part of life in Indian families; infants are massaged daily from birth to three years old.
