Funding Cloning The topic of cloning has been around for many decades. However, in 1958 scientist had their first success with a carrot plant clone, which was used for plantation hormones. Our present day scientists have achieved to clone animals, although with much difficulty and defects. Now they are closer to clone human transplants and possibly in the near future clone humans. As a nation we have to take in consideration the impact that cloning will create. Funding for cloning should not be tolerated because it is too dangerous and destructive for mankind to handle. Cloning is the making of an identical copy of something or someone. Reproductive cloning occurs with the idea of duplicating a past or existing organism. “The ability to make precise genetic changes in human stem cells could be used to boost their therapeutic potential or make them more compatible with patients’ immune systems.” (Wexler 13) This achievement has set more boundaries to therapeutic cloning making funding for clone experiments dispensable. Surely, Therapeutic Cloning is a subject that should be left alone for the safety of our future generations and because it is option to an advancement in medicine not the only solution for mankind. Cloning is the type of technology that humans are not ready to face. Cloning comes with a lot suffering to the clones themselves. Clones would not have their own purpose in life or originality. They are unnatural and will lead to a revolution. In conclusion the majority of the human population will be against funding clone experimentation because it is a dreadful use of science creating chaos and catastrophe in their own society due to the lack of success cloning will input the human
