Baroque is almost synonymous with the romantic style with its expressive style, it’s sometimes deep spiritual subject matter, and it’s emphasis on the merit of the artist whether then the divine. Also it is very different from Impressionism in the technique, and form. Main feature of impressionism is the focus on the natural light of the subject. The blur look is meant to be notice. All in all impressionism to me seems like an escape into an alternate reality that focuses on fun and transitional of the moment. What do their styles say about your chosen artists’ appreciation of the human figures? The styles are very different to each other. One has more of the realistic of the picture and the other has more of the blur. Given the effect of light source and The chosen style would come from the heart of the person drawing and what they are good at and like. Some artist likes to draw in depth of the drawing verse just sketching of the picture. Every artist has a different conceptive on what they do. What were your initial thoughts? Compare and balance them with what you have learned about the artist and their respective periods in art.? I feel when you look at the art you can see the difference of the two. One is like a blur as if you didn’t have glasses on when you need to have them to see. The impressionism is more like the real look but with a shadow to it. I feel that artist really feel like they are in their own world and as if they are seeing that person or thing and then draw them. I have learned that when a artist is drawing they look at what they are drawing and looking at the contour of the drawing. They look at the shape and the shading of it. What do these examples say about the artists’ values of the human form? (For example, do the artists revere or rejoice in the human figure, or do they treat it irreverently?)
