Sometimes called NPO’s, they are set up to create a venture where any and all surplus money, beyond reasonable operating expenses, will be spent to provide services and programs, typically for education, social causes, the arts and scientific research. An effective Vision Statement will allow you to tell the world what change you wish to create for the future of your community. Agencies write the statement to identify and connect with the customers they will serve. Additionally, the value statement allows the agencies staff to be aware of the priorities and goals of the Agency. The value statement is the "guiding principles,” it tells the customer and the employee where the Agency stands and what the company believes in. The value statement gives meaning and words to the values the Agency lives by. The value statement for New Life Services is, “As an agency, and as people, we value integrity, honesty, excellence, respect, and continual self-improvement. We are committed to our customers and have a passion for fighting domestic violence and sexual assault.” Our statement will show that our agency will take on challenges, and we pride ourselves on seeing them through. We want society to know that New Life services will hold ourselves accountable to our customers, our Board of directors, partners, and employees by honoring our commitments.
